Germany The charming porcelain Hummel Figurines were based on sketches by a Franciscan Nun, Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel of Germany. They depict young children in everyday situations. This darling piece depicts a young girl hard at work stirring a large blue bowl of batter. She wears an orange and white dress, with a scarf tied at her neck. A tan oversized apron protects her dress as she completes her chore. The colors are still vibrant. M I Hummel is incised on the base and she is hallmarked with "Goebel, W Germany, 330". Condition - The condition is excellent. T are no cracks, chips, stains, or restoration.
