I thought that we had made our last USMC move, but Uncle Sam has decided that we like NC too much and is relocating us to VA Beach (could be worse), so time to purge and move AGAIN! Ok, lets get on with the auction....This precious Hummel figurine is called Apple Tree Boy. It has the FULL BEE mark, TMK2, along with the piece #142/I, Germany. It is listed in my 7th edition of the Robert Miller Hummel guide with a value to $625! It is truly rare to find this piece with the old style base, it is colored all the way around rather than having the cream colored base. Another one of the reasons that this piece is so rare is that it is in the larger size measuring 6 1/4" tall. Unfortunately the taller of the two branches was broken just above his right hand and nicely re-attached. It still displays nicely and I have shown some close-ups so you can see for yourself. T are no other chips, cracks or repairs. Please excuse the white spots, that is just camera glare. You will not want to miss this RARE piece.
