My Aunt Mary, who recently lost her battle with cancer at the age of eighty-two, was a collector of everything. When we went through her personal belongings, we found a box that she neatly placed in her closet. Inside the box was her collection of Hummel figurines, each individually wrapped for protection against chips and fading. Her meticulousness resulted in a vintage, mint/near-mint collection.
Up for auction is one piece from her vast collection. It is entitled, Bird Duet. The figurine is measures 4 inches in height. Because she never displayed her Hummels, the colors of this item are as vibrant as the day she purchased it. T are no chips or glued parts.

The book value for this item is about $200.00 dollars. The reserve price is is less than half that amount.
