Another adorable figurine by Hummel/Goebel from 1948. This one is titled "Retreat to Safety". This little guy is trying to get away from a little frog. Etched underneath this figurine are the numbers: 201 2/0 1948 93. Also, underneath in blue, marked Goebel w/West Germany, and a circle with letter "c". Etched along edge is MI Hummel. Sticker along edge reads "Retreat to Safety - In Tausend Angsten". Measures 4" high. Appears to be in very good condition. Please note: Both hands grasping together on one side of the fence (as done with the original large size figurine). THANKS FOR LOOKING!
