Hum 127--"Doctor" Ca. 1957--CE (Closed Edition) Acquired from a relative's personal collection, this beautifully colored figurine, "Doctor," is a charming rendition made by Goebel Hummel. It features a young boy, dressed in his best attempt at a doctor's garb, taking care of his own doll. This vintage piece is in excellent condition and is marked with the stylized "V" and the Bee symbol on the bottom; (this stamp being first used in 1957). It is also stamped 127 on the bottom as well as having the M.J. Hummel Signature on the base (see photo detail). It stands approximately 5" tall. The first issue of this model was in 1939 by master sculptor Arthur Moeller. Buying/Selling Details: Please email me if you have any questions or concerns...and please ask before you bid.
