Up for auction is huge old collection of postal covers and postcards which belonged to a Sgt. Wendell Yount of Ft. Leavenworth. Sgt Yount was at Fort Leavenworth during the 1930's and 40's and was the official camp photographer. He was also an avid stamp collector, and these covers were part of his collection. Many are actually addressed to Ft. Leavenworth. Lots of envelopes of various size and age. There are US covers, worldwide covers, covers from the 1800's, old Kansas covers, Airmail covers, War Department covers, censored covers, and 1940's first day covers. I am not a collector of stamps, and these have not been picked through or sorted. I purchased his photograph collection, and these were part of the lot. There is really too much to list, and I regret that there are only 12 pictures allowed on these ebay auctions. I really didn't know which ones to include, as they all look good to me. I'm sure I have failed included some interesting pieces. Shipping is a flat $12.00 in the USA via USPS medium flat rate box, and comes from a 100% ebayer. USA sale only!
