Hungarian Mannlicher M.35 Infantry Bayonet, Scabbard, Frog & Domumentation VERY GOOD CONDITION I'm thinning out my extensive W.W. II bayonet collection because I need more room to breath! You are bidding on a Hungarian Mannlicher M.35 Infantry bayonet, scabbard, frog & documents. THIS BAYONET HAS BEEN CLEANED UP & AT LEAST PARTIALLY RESTORED! See description below. Documentation will also be included (see later description of this). Description: THE BAYONET - has a 338 mm flat cruciform blade (a ridge running down the center of both sides of the blade) - it is 90% blued w some scratching & pitting near the spear point - these bayos were factory sharpened on both edges but this one has not been sharpened otherwise - Crossguard includes a locking system & press stud similar to French Lebel bayos. - t is no rust on this bayo. except in the small sight groove above the muzzle ring (see pic.) - Markings: right side of lower part of crossguard has engraved the Hungarian crest (w St. Stephen's crown) & serial No. "A-34029" (see pic.) - the single piece wooden Grip is most likely a replacement because t are no noticeable defects on it except for some fading near the crossguard - it slides over the cylindrical & threaded tang in one piece - the Pommel is hollow in its cneter to accomodate the muzzle stud on the rifle - t are 2 small spanner read more
