GOOD to FAIR CONDITION This sale is for a vintage hardback edition entitled “ The Hunter-Chaser ,” by Peter Brush , Lieut.-Colonel, D.S.O., O.B.E., The Rifle Brigade, with 16 vintage photographic plates, including a frontispiece depicting the late J. P. Duncanson, The Rifle Brigade, Winning the Maiden Hunters’ Steeplechase, Grand Military Meeting, Sandown, 1936, and 16 diagrams in the text. It was published by Hutchinson & Co., Ltd., of London , in January, 1948 and is the second impression of the March, 1947 FIRST EDITION. The book measures 9.25 inches x 6.25 inches and has 192 pages + photographic plates. The book is in good condition for its age, internally neat and clean, with wear/bumps and is grubby/blemished to the original cloth hardback cover, with a previous owner’s inscription at the front, light foxing near the covers, and no other ink or pencil markings in the book. The binding is good with no loose or missing pages. There is no dust-jacket. A wonderful illustrated vintage edition.
