This is a top quality knife made by CHIFA a surgical Instrument company and it shows. This knife IS NOT A PUMA but reminds me of a Puma pal. The quality of this knife in my opinion surpasses Puma. They even call it Puma small in their catalog. This is a high quality forged knife that is of one piece integral design. The fit and finish on the knife is impressive. I have no idea what this knife cost new but I will try to price it fairly. The blade is 4 inches to the widest part of the hand guard the sharp edge is 3 5/8. * YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO BID ON THIS ITEM * The original knife company CHIFA, The company specializes years in the manufacture of products of high quality stainless steel. This knife is in a sense of history. All Chify knives were made of high-alloy steel, forged rods freely, and then double-forged. Received such a method forgings were hand cut in such a way that the blade is concave which provides ease of cutting and facilitates sharpening for many years. Quenching and tempering takes place in vacuum furnaces, and the resulting very high hardness of 56-58 HRC for long life. Knives that were awarded the highest mark of quality "Q". Handles were framed in the antlers of a deer, which is particularly appreciated by hunters. Everything is hand-ground and polished to a mirror shine.
