GOOD to FAIR CONDITION This sale is for a large size vintage hardback FIRST EDITION entitled “ Hunting Scenes ,” subtitled “ Forty Sketches of Hunting Scenes and Countries ,” selected and arranged by Cecil Aldin , with a Memoir and descriptive notes by “Sabretache” and 40 illustrations in COLOUR. It was published by Eyre & Spottiswoode, of London , and is the 1936 (date of title page and preface) FIRST EDITION. The book measures 12.3 inches x 10.25 inches and has 86 pages (including illustrations). The book is in good used but internally neat condition for its age, with heavy wear/bumps and is grubby/faded to the original cloth hardback cover (frayed/punctures to the cloth boards), with a little foxing/blemishing/grubby near the covers. There are NO inscriptions/book-plates and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The binding is used but good with no loose or missing pages. There is no dust-jacket. A good reading copy of this wonderfully illustrated vintage FIRST EDITION.
