This carousel is a new item just on the market for 2007.

A very, realistic & just a real fun item.

New finely detailed realistic wood carved & hand painted carousel with an Eskimo Musher & his team of four Siberian Husky sled dogs harnessed & running a trail. Overall measurements for the carousel 6 3/4" high x 5" across with a 16 1/4" girth. The carousel has a stationary base that measures 1/2" high x 4 1/4" across with a 14 1/4" girth with four rubber anchors. A 9 3/4" center pole connects the base & the suspended carousel disk. Attached to the center pole are six strands of blue & yellow ribbon that anchor to the suspended carousel disk.....measures 1 1/4" high x 5" across with a 16 1/4" girth. The Musher measures 3" high.....sled 2 3/4" long.....lead dog 2" long x 1 1/4" high.....the other three dogs measure 1 1/2" long to 1 1/4"/ - 1 1/2" high. The simple concept is based on an antique toy. By rotating the suspended disk, the ribbon tightens & when released the suspended disk revolves back & forth in a circular motion until the momentum stops. This is a really unique & fun item!
