I am a sewer, and this is a great machine!! Vintage Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine, model 1020. I have personally sewn on this machine and it works great! The 1020 is from the era of the great Viking machines, the 6000 series. This machine is built the same as the viking 6020 BUT does not do all the stitches that the 6020 did. The 1020 does a straight stitch, zig zag and a button hole. T is so much you can do with this machine!! You can even drop the feed dogs to sew on buttons or do free motion work! Knits, denim, machine quilting, sewing garments--all able to be done with this Viking 1020. T is a manual with it, but the manual is in poor condition. It is a copy and t are some pages stuck together. You can definintely get a real feel for how to use the machine from the manual.t is an original Viking foot pedal, the extension plate that makes it a flat bed when it is on--or off the machine is a free arm. T is the slide under the arm accessory box to hold extra bobbins, and feet. T are extra feet with it as well! Button hole foot, darning/free motion foot, and a zipper foot as well as a genuine button reed. extra bobbins and screwdrivers as well! This machine HAS THE LOW GEAR that the Viking sewing machines of this era are known for. On the right, w you spin the bobbins, you pull out the knob. Now the machine sews VERY SLOW and VERY
