This Hutschenreuther Christmas bell is in perfect condition! It does not appear to have ever been hung. The box is not in mint condition showing some wear and remnants of price tags. The graphics on this bell are fantastic~crisp detail overall~showing a dog sled scene with a Santa figure seated in the sled holding a Christmas tree and wrapped gifts. T is a lady driver at the helm, and six dogs ready to mush. The background shows these figures in front of a lake scene with iceburgs, all under a starry moonlit sky. Much of the scenery on this bell is decorated in a rich gold making the figures really stand out. This bell is just a hair under 3" high, and 2 1/8" in diameter at the bottom opening. It is tied with a red satin bow, perfect condition, at the top for hanging. Ole Winther's signature appears right below that sled, and the bell is labeled in gold 1991 Nordpol Hutschenreuther Germany. In this same labeled area is the lion in an oval with 1814, the year the company began production.This would be an excellent addition to your collection or gift for someone who collects these bells, in one of the harder to find limited editions.Thanks for looking~Best Wishes!
