Hypersthene Palmstone Hypersthene is a magnesium-iron silicate and occurs in dark granular igneous rocks and in some meteorites. It has an orthorhombic crystal system and a hardness of 5 to 6. It has a shimmer to the surface similar to that of Labradorite but with a purpleness to it. This stunning palmstone measures approx. 6.9 cms x 5.0 cms x 1.0 cms. Check out my other items !
