I-6. WWI French Foreign Legion captains kepi, nice! Very nice WWI Foreign Legion captains kepi, the lower crown type they started wearing around 1914. This is a real veteran, shows lots of wear but was taken care of over the years. NO mothing! The originally red silk lining has faded to a brown color. Sweatband is nice, and has some minor stitching seperation around the visor, but is NOT coming loose. Has nice Legion buttons, and the short lived metal Legion bomb kepi badge. Well used but not abused example. (NOTE: Ive heard from several European bidders that they have been unable to open the scans for some reason, it is most likely provider incompatibility.
