I have had alot of jewelry, but this is the first I`ve seen like this! It`s a deep butterscotch tested bakelite frame that has a silver (possibly sterling) oval plaque of St. Christopher and Jesus in the center. The back is brass-toned metal (some dings, dents) and has a hinged section that allows the item to sit on a table or wherever. It`s marked MADE IN FRANCE on the stand and there is another impressed mark which is part of Made In France. The piece measures 1 5/8 inches wide x 2 1/2` high and the oval metal medallion in center is 1 /4` high x 7/8` wide. The piece is in overall fine conditon, just one teeny edge nick on the bakelite. Safely tested positive for bakelite using 409 cleaner. Don`t let this one slip by! Great for the bakelite or religious items collector!
