This is an original November 23rd 1952 Sunday comic ad featuring a HUGE Call for Philip Morris Cigarettes newspaper advertisement from way back in November of 1952 (so it's thanksgiving time!) Featuring two great Hollywood stars, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz! the stars of the new laugh riot on CBS I Love Lucy! Of course, who can forget that classic sitcom, I Love Lucy! And featuring the stars of I LOVE LUCY AND SHE LOVES ME WE'RE AS HAPPY AS TWO CAN BE Lucille Ball and her real*life husband Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz! This was an interesting time in the career of Lucille Ball, she was a glamourous actress in the 40's perfect for Technicolor but in the early 1950's, teamed up in a new tv show called I Love Lucy with husband Ricky Ricardo aka husband Desi Arnaz! Joined by William Frawley and Vivian Vance as Fred and Ethel Mertz, and away we go, in the early 1950's, LUCYMANIA! And as part of Lucymania, advertisements like this one! ad from the sunday comics, 1/3, approximately 7" by 14" (slightly bigger than our scanner, email if you want a full scan), overall a great I Love Lucy collectible, BABALU!!
