I Walk Alone (Paramount, 1948). Three Sheet (41 X 81 ). Bootleggers Frankie Madison (Burt Lancaster) and Noll Turner (Kirk Douglas), are about to get caught by the cops. They decide to split-up, vowing that the one who gets away will protect the other s interest in their jointly owned nightclub. Madison gets caught and when released from prison 14 years later, comes to reclaim his interest. But Turner has no intention of honoring the deal and uses Madison s brother Dave (Wendell Corey) and his own girlfriend Kay (Lizabeth Scott), to help con his old partner. Madison is not easily fooled however, and soon plots his revenge. There is fold line wear with minor paper loss, primarily at the fold line intersections. The center intersection has a fair amount of paper loss, and there are a few scattered holes. The poster has been restored, minimizing these defects, and offers a striking, large format image of a young Burt Lancaster. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
