I bought this bass new in the mid-2000s. At the time, the GSR200 was pretty much the best 'budget' Electric Bass you could buy. I'm not sure if this still holds true, but it really is a fantastic instrument - it sounds much more expensive than it is. It's been well taken care of over it's time with me, there is no major damage to the neck or body and the frets are not worn or damaged. The electronics work perfectly. The fret wires could do with a bit of a clean and polish. There are no major scratches on the laquer of the body, but, as you may already be aware, black finishes tend to show every last tiny defect or mark in the right light, and this is no exception. On close inspection, there are clusters of very fine scratches where my wrist rests while finger-picking, between the bottom of the fretboard and the split-pickup and around the rotary controls. I've tried to photograph these marks as best I can. They don't really show from a distance, or when looking at the instrument front on.
