This is a genuine 1989-dated IBM XT clone "Super Turbo" motherboard. Clone motherboards are interesting things, and usually a fair bit faster than the IBM original! I have no idea who made this one, but the original setup manual states it as a "Super Turbo". However, it is fitted with a fast NEC V20 processor and has 512kB RAM. BIOS is a Phoenix, version 2.27. It flashed up saying "keyboard bad" on one boot, but I haven't tested it any further than this. I know it was fully working 5 years ago as it came to me inside an IBM 5155 Portable PC! I took it out and replaced it with an original IBM XT 64-256kB motherboard that was correct for the 5155. You'll probably find the specifications somewhere deep in Total Hardware 99! /th99/ I have a other PC/XT parts for sale, so please check out my other items. Collection in person is available in Limehouse London E14, or I can post at cost. !
