ICE CREAM DRIP ONE OFF RARE 60CM x 50CM ACRYLIC ON CANVAS My work is unlike most images you will see. Different is good – it articulates diversity and a need for different ways to be creative with paint. My aim is to emulate movement and chance by manipulating paint, colour, and gravity, by applying layer upon layer of applications and a multitude of tools for applying the paint to canvas, forming intricate shapes and trails of vibrant tones, taking your eye on a journey of innovative blending of paint. Depth and balance are just a few of the elements that are needed to establish the dynamic of apparent chaos and order that lends itself to my compositions. My work has an il lustrious quality giving the viewer a completely tactile characteristic, studied in closer proximity the piece’s lighter applications creates an inner gravitas, and presents a functional contemporary feel to any corporate or private space. I have featured work in the Clipper round the world yacht race; produced work endorsed by the artist David Hockney and formerly had my own solo exhibition at The Red Gallery.
