And, NO, I'm not interested in buying gold or diamonds from Africa so save us all some time and don't email offers.Gold on the Crooked River, near Idaho City, Idaho's a Chance to own what people only dream about!!This is truly a chance of a lifetime !!This claim is located on one of the Rich Rivers in Central Idaho. This is a claim that is on proven ground of producing gold. We have sluiced and sniped this claim on and off for 2 years ourselves. This is not a claim filed to just be peddled. We own a few quality claims in this area and this particular claim has not been dredged steady or mined out-mostly just performing our annual labor and enjoying the area.Being offered is an 40 acre unpatented mining claim on the "Crooked River" in Boise County Idaho. The Crooked River enters the claim on the NE border and flows in Southerly direction and then sharply turns to the west and then turns to the east and runs towards the SE corner of the claim, giving this claim roughly 1/2 of a mile of river to work. When you take all the curves into consideration and you also have both sides of the river banks/benches to work you have much more than ½ mile as you can see in the map I provided. This claim was laid out in the original location to get as much as possible of river frontage that you can get. T is smaller creek running into the Crooked River on this claim which may be a gold producer as well. The claim starts approximately ¼ mile downstream from a trailhead on the main road to Atlanta. This means you are looking at a lot of virgin gold producing ground. You will also find nice hard pan/hard pack in the Crooked River itself along with old hydraulic tailing and iron oxide materials on this claim. This claim also has wonderful camping area on it as you can see a portion of the campground in one of the photo's. If you want to camp with your RV then t are several nice camping sites (free) close to the trailhead. Up the road about a mile is a forest service campground (Edna Creek camp ground ) w t are improved camping site. T are many old rich historical mines around this area and the Crooked River itself was bucket line dredged about one mile upstream from the claim. The bedrock is too close to the surface on this claim for a bucket line dredge to have worked so remained virgin ground. These photo's are of the actual claim.This auction is for the full 40 acre claim known as "Gold Canyon # 1" The IMC is 189910. This is truly a claim worth owning. Accessibility is great on this claim. In the photo of the campground the river is right next to the campground. You will also notice w I built a couple campfire/cooking areas with stones. It is just a really good time camping, cooking and mining on this river. You will find none better!(fresh Idaho trout)! T is quite a bit of down firewood in this area for your fires. Idaho City is up the road 24 or so miles for gasoline, groceries and chilled beverages if desired. They also have RV parking with electric, phone and water if one desires. The long sharp curves offer some of the best dredging, high banking and metal detecting areas imaginable. With the inside curves w the river slows down because of the curves makes this a miners paradise. T is also a lot of exposed bedrock in and out of the rivers throughout this claim. While on this claim you will find some old historical hand stacked tailing piles. This is a wonderful area to just explore with a metal detector as one never knows what they might dig up in this area.
