The car is The Crystal Starflite Oldsmobile from The Ideal Toy Company from 1954 and it measures 20" long. This car features a removable clear plastic body, made so you could understand the mechanics of a car. It is very highly detailed. The body is easily removed from the chassis. It has a cutaway differential to see. The head & tail lights are there but I haven’t tried them to see if they work. It has the rubber radiator cap. There are a couple of issues: sipnner on the driver rear wheel is missing, the plastic chrome trim has also aged with blackish blemishes. Clear plastic has normal aging (this toy is almost 60 years old !!!) The battery box copper contact plates have some residue. The rubber o-ring that was used as a fan belt is missing but can be replaced. I have not checked to see if everthing works. But overall it is in good condition. The top of the box is missing but the rest of the box seems to be there. Thanks for looking please ask any questions. Paypal payment due within three days.
