Up for auction is a Complete Original 1980's IDEAL TOYS " KNIGHT RIDER " CUT-OFF challenge Slot Car Race Track set!This IDEAL race track set comes complete with all of the original track pieces, which has recently been cleaned. The track is in very good shape, no cracks, the pieces still have good tight connections with each other & it really looks as good as it did thirty years ago {minus the old stickers running down the middle}. The only thing that does need some attention is the metal track rails, they unfortunately oxidize over time and when this occurs the cars stop and go around the track, so one thing I will do in the coming days and whoever wins the auction should as well, is take a nickel and run it along side the rails and use a little more 409 de-greaser to remove what dirt might be left, the wd-40 pens they have now work really good on removing oxidation and that way you can avoid getting any on the actual track if you are careful, but a little access won't hurt it much if it does get on the plastic and if you do, just wipe it off with a rag.Included in the race set are the two original vehicles, the Firebird KIT car & the Peterbilt truck, both are in fine shape, no cracks or missing pieces & they have lights that work and they run great.
