Jane Graber, our sister and a member of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA), has been making miniature replicas of 18th- and 19th-century American salt-glaze stoneware for more than 35 years, hand-throwing each piece on a potter's wheel, then painting and signing her work. She is internationally recognized for her craft, has been featured on the cover of Ceramics Monthly , and regularly does solo and group shows in the U.S. and England. Her work is extraordinary; she is widely recognized as the best living miniaturist potter. This auction includes one stoneware lidded water fountain (the lid is beeswaxed on), with an early-19th-century design of a strutting rooster. The water fountain is 2" tall, and the wooden spigot is handcrafted by one of Jane's friends. The detail work and craftsmanship on this piece is gorgeous. Brand new, delightful piece of signed Jane Graber miniature stoneware, available directly from the Graber family shop in northern Indiana, Jane's online source. No reserve. Combined shipping possible for multiple purchases from our Jane Graber offerings this week. We are happy to ship anywhere in the world, so feel free to bid.
