Ignatz Flying Pendulum Clock, No Reserve is a very collectible Flying Pendulum Clock, with its pendulum on a string, and flying from one side post to the other, in total amazement for the person watching it. It stands 7 x 10 inches, and has a 3" diameter paper dial. It is a mahogany case with all brass applications, and is a reproduction of a late 1800's Ignatz Flying Pendulum Clock. It has brass claw feet on all four corners. The clock does run, but we do not attest to the time keeping ability of this clock. It was made as a novelty clock, and you really get the amazement of all your friends when they see it. The little brass ball about the size of a bb is connected to a string, and it flies around one brass post, then unwinds, and then flies around the other post on the opposite side. This process continuously repeats itself as the clock is running. What a crazy clock idea, but it sure gets one's attention when it is seen. It is running, and quite interesting, and actually, it does keep very reasonable time, but note that it does not come with our ProClock's Guarantee!!
