The Lark was a first-class, all pullman night train between SF and LA. It was killed by cheap airfares in the 1960s because, as the railroad said, this "Lark could not fly". Up for auction is a set of six heavy-weight cars - all new and in the box. All have NMRA couplers escpet for one which has Bachman-type magnetic couplers. Here is what you get - a complete consist that will look great on any layout: #49662 Combine #49661 Coach #49663 Diner #49666 Sleeper 8-1-2 #49667 Sleeper 12-1 #49664 Observation These cars include consumer-install grab-irons, etc. which are in plastic bags along with instructions in the box with the cars.
