The 1/200 scale model kit of the Yamato is as she look as built in 1941. If you wish to build out the model to later refits t were many changes in her structure including added AA guns, modified radar, deck house changes including the bridge and main housing. In fact they are almost too numerous to account. I am currently making masters for the upgrading of the kit to 1944-1945 refit . Some of these items I have up for auction at present. This item is the modification to the lvl III stern aspect of the main housing to make it look at about 1944-1945. This is the lvl w t is a catwalk going from the main housing to the funnel. The upgrade parts include high quality resin casting of the modified deckhouse and a piece of Japanese pattern resin treadplate thinned to 0.030" large enough to fit on the resin bulkhead with overhang. The modified deckhouse bulhead features watertight doors, vent pipes, and light fixtures over the water tight doors with electric cabling and light switch boxes. The modified bulkhead part slides over the kits' deckhouse as shown in the pictures attached to this auction. Because of people's different building styles and techniques you may have to do minor fitting of the bulkhead and the filling of any gaps, which should be minimal.
