What you'll receive are 8 molle attachment straps with ITW Nexus buckles (4 male ans 4 female). What I've done is strip this down to the cool bits, and here's some ideas for you. A bunch of people are selling these, but nobody tells you how incredibly versatile and cool they are or gives you ideas on how to use them. Here's a couple of ways I am doing so. The pack and sleeping bags used in this auction are not for sale, just the 8 piece strap attachment kit. I've used them as compression straps for sleeping bags. The first example is a patrol bag I've put inside two used Tyvec shipping bags (how's that for reuse), which gives you about as much water repellency as a MACS Sack, maybe just a tad less, but it holds the bag together for max compression. The straps, configured this way, in a square, really squish that bag down to a very nice, compact size. I've also shown the intermediate bag so you can see what that does as well. The newer army bag compresses a little better I might add. This modified strap kit really holds together and the straps are very well made. I've left these bags compressed for weeks now and they've shown no signs of stress on the sewing and the buckles have not let up their tension.
