I'm selling this beautiful, great condition, illuminate d, vintage / antique 'Lone Star Beer' hanging sign for my 69 year old Brother in-law. He recalls it hanging in his grandfathers Bar as a little boy! It measures about 14"x17"x about 2 1/2" deep (3 dimensional - not flat). My understanding is that this sign display is very rare with very few being made back then. It shows a 'shapely' cowgirl sitting on a horse watching over the a small heard of cattle in a field surrounded by woods - very pleasant and relaxing scene. The glass sign face does have a very fine hair line crack? or scratch? is all (as shown in the last photo below). All the parts, cords, bulbs, hanging chain, etc. are original (except for the duct tape and t as shown in the below photo) . The fluorescent bulb does not illuminate. The incandescent bulb does illuminate. This is a very rare, hard to find piece of antique LONE STAR BEER sign memorabilia! This item will be very carefully packaged for shipping (shipping insurance is included in the shipping cost) .
