First impression of illustrated edition (October 1930) of "Domnei - A Comedy of Woman-Worship" by James Branch Cabell, illustrated by Frank C Pape. The text was first published in 1913, with three subsequent editions in 1920, 1926 & 1928.Published by John Lane,The Bodley Head, London (printed in the USA). Illustrated with 10engraved plates by Frank C. Pape as well as further illustrations by him at the beginning of each chapter - 30 in all. Illustrated endpapers also by Pape. xvii + 252 pages + 10 plates Book size 9.6" x 6.3" Dust jacket and gilt on front and spine in very good condition. A few pages uncut. There is some foxing on quite a number of the pages, otherwise in good condition. Book is heavy, so overseas postage costs are high. Europe (standard airmail): £11; Rest of World £17.50 (standard airmail). Signed-for delivery can be arranged at extra cost. UK (2nd class) £3.20.
