This is an original 1884 heavily illustrated Allen's Atlas of Harrison County, Iowa. Besides the general maps of the United States and Iowa, it contains the 20 township maps of Harrison County and 15 Plans of Towns plus population statistics and the Business Directory of all Townships in the County (which includes the proprietors name, type of business, origin, and date of settlement). This Atlas has 92 pages and included along with the maps are 38 full page black and white illustrations of residences and businesses (see photo for the list of names). This platt map book is complete but the front and back covers are well worn and unattached, the title page is missing and many of the inside pages are loose. T is overall age discoloration but mostly along the outer edges, and t are 3 or 4 pages that have tattered edges. In general, however, the 92 pages are in good condition. The winning bidder pays shipping and insurance. I accept money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks with a 10 day waiting period.
