If there is anything secondhand - I mention it in the item description. I don't use overlock and usually don't do lining. And avoid snaps ;-) most of my outfits will be slip-on. Important. Staining protection. I do the hot water test on all new fabric (and don't use ones that failed it), so my outfits should not stain your doll. Although there is a possibility that in some conditions (temperature, reaction with other materials etc.) that may happen.
