Imperial Cape Cod Ruby Stained 30oz Decanter Description - This decanter is exactly like the one shown on page 403 of "Imperial Glass Encyclopedia Volume 2", put out by the National Imperial Glass Collector's Society. This reference quotes "An Imperial Pricesheet dated January 1, 1943, lists about two dozen pieces of Cape Cod with decoration #208, which is described as Cranberry Rim Decoration". Size - About 10" tall to the top of the stopper and almost 5" in diameter through the fat part of the decanter. Estimated 5 pounds packed weight for shipping. Condition - Excellent condition. T is a tiny, shallow flat nick on the inside edge of the decanter rim w the stopper fits. It is difficult to see and does not detract. T is also a very, very light mineral stain in the bottom of the decanter that appears like it would clean up nicely. Definitely not sick. T are no other nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. T are four spots of ruby stain on or near the bottom inside of the decanter. These were done in the manufacturing process and do not detract. We have shown these spots in the fourth photo below. Marks - No manufacturer's mark. CLICK to visit our EBAY STORE As always, SATISFACTION AND AUTHENTICITY ARE ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED. SO BID CONFIDENTLY.
