This beautiful IMPERIAL BAVARIAN PINK CUP & SAUCER is signed deBec in gold lettering on the front. It is one set of several pieces from a recent estate sale and is in very good condition with only a bit of white showing at the ridges of the saucer w maybe the transfer of color missed these areas. I doubt they were ever used. The gold trim on both pieces is in great condition.The saucer is 6 1/8 in. in diameter. This setâe(tm)s color is pastel pink. The scalloped border is trimmed in gold. The roses are shades of pink and green with grapes and leaves in the same shades of pink and green. The logo on the bottom is a bit complex. On the saucer t is a green shield trimmed in gold âe" a gold crown, under that is what appears to be a pair of scissors and under that the words IMPERIAL. Under the shield it says GERMANY. The cup is the same except it says Imperial in gold above the shield and Made in Germany below. The lower part of the shield says BAVERIA. Now âe" a very faint black mark is over the top of all of this and only by studying all the pieces have I come up with what I think it says. T is a wreath with an M and maybe a P in it, under that the words Maschendorf Bavaria (some of the center letters are not clearly visible on many of the pieces.
