Here is an original, Imperial German 84/98 Type I Bayonet and Scabbard which are in fair condition as shown. The bayonet is marked "ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN" on the left ricasso and "74.R.10.211" on the right guard. There is a stippled out unit number on the left guard. The blade has a mostly smooth mottled surface with areas of light pitting. The grips are heavily damaged. The guard and pommel have surface patina with areas of light pitting. The scabbard is marked "53.R.16.24" on the throat. The scabbard leather has no breaks but it has dried out slightly. The scabbard metal has patina with areas of light pitting. An original 84/98 Type I bayonet and scabbard that will display well. Please read ALL terms of this auction before bidding. Will combine multiple purchases to save on shipping. Please do not ask to lower Customs Form values! No shipping to Italy due to their Customs regulations.
