COLLECTOR ALERT ! A very special Imperial German WW I Iron Cross second class. are the details as we have them, First Double marked "Z" on ribbon ring and # 5 on lug loop. Very rare to find two marks of this type. Second, this medal only 41.5mm (very small) notice: not considered a Prinzen" size but ultra small and very rare and Third, we can grade this beauty MINT quality. Three part construction with magnetic core and two sterling silver frames. The details ar clean, crisp. The paint is a glossy black which adds to this items desireability. Very nice item to be sure. The maker mark "Z" has been id'ed to be that of "ZEICH" of Berlin, Germany. The original 9 inch award ribbon has been UV light tested and is a "non-glow" 100% original WW1 issue.
