IMPERIAL GRAPE PLATE 6", Amethyst / Purple Carnival Glass, Beauty in the eye of the beholder applies ! Helios green and clambroth (Yes Indeed, This is a valid color made by Imperial.) It is consistently found within the realm of their patterns. AMETHYST / PURPLE runs a very close second to smoke in desirability and treasure quality, PURPLE is HOT. Unsure of age of plate, It was acquired when an old german tenant passed away in the 1940's in a rental house my parents owned, Everything was left in the house, the family did not want anything. I know they are very old and Antique. The colors are brilliant, and the Irridescent of the plate surely make it a treasure to own.
