This is a very nice lot of two figures from Imperial Productions depicting two girls flying a kite. The young girl is running with the kite and has flowing blonde hair; the older girl has just let go of the kite, which has lifted in the air. Imperial models are 54mm scale figures made in the style of old toy soldiers. Imperial models represent different regiments of the New Zealand and British military, warriors from various nations, and specialty sets, including civilian figures. The models were created by David and Kay Cowe of Greytown, New Zealand. This will make an outstanding addition for a Victorian and Edwardian history buff; those interested in clothing and costumes; material related to New Zealand and Australasia; historical events related to the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha dynasty; civilian and military miniaturists and dioramas; toy soldier collectors; those interested in the Second Golden Age of Toy Soldiers; Blenheim, Wm. Hocker, Imperial, Marlborough, Nostalgia, Star and Tradition figures; and collectors of figures representing a more genteel time.
