We offer a magnificent trompe d'oeuil cigarette case by Ovchinikov. Designed to resemble a folded cloth designed with decorations, the case reflects the master of the silversmith's art. The vey body of the silver is made to rsemble the woven cloth and the enamel deorations resemble the embroidery that was so often used. Marked to the interior Ovchinikov in cyrilliv with the Imperial warrant, as well as the assayer's mark: AK. The daye, unfortunately was below the lip and does not appear. It has St George for Moscow. Not inexpensive but a guranteed quality piece from a collection.
