This is absolutely unique,never seen befor online ,antique Imperial Russian Shashka sword belonged to the famous Russian Major-General Mikhail Skobelev. It has been awarded to hem by Alexander II of Russia for gallantry in the final battle in Shipka city in Bulgaria,with the Ottoman Imperial army,leaded by Osman Pasha,during Russian-Turkish Liberation war.This war was for the liberation of Bulgaria from the Turkish Yoke... The Shaska is in brilliant condition.It is award parade sword,which wear the Order of St Anna!!! General Skobelev was awarded with St Anna order st degree,and this shashka with matching order insignia.This was one of the highest imperial russian award rank... The shashka has heavy gilt bronze handle,decorated with the miniature of St Anna,with red transperant enamel.It is engraved "for gallantry",and "Shipka 1877". It is fited with premium Solingen blade. The blade is 33inches long,and the whole shashka is 41 inches long.It has genuine leather scabbard with goldplated bronze loop and ends.
