Imperial Soldier's Relief League special member badge The Imperial Soldier's Relief League, also known as the Imperial Soldier's Mutual Aid Association, was founded in 1937 and officially recognized by Imperial order October 3, This is the Meritorious Member's badge. It is 1.92 inches high and 1.7 inches wide, with all the metal in gilt, a red border around the oval, and rays enameled in white. It is issued in a black lacquer case with the name of the badge on the lid in gilt characters. Despite the fact that these badges were made during wartime and immediately before, the manufacturing quality is consistently high. An original description is attached to this badge.
