Original WWI Imperial German enameled & silver Iron Cross ring. Silver ring is marked "800" for the silver content. Shield top has black, white & red enamelling with an Iron Cross and "Wilna, 18.9.15". Wilna stands for the Wilna Administrative Area which was a unit of administrative division of German-controlled territory of the Ober-Ost during WWI. It bordered the so-called Southern Lithuania area to the south and Kaunas government precinct to the north. Sides state "Weltkrieg" and "19" (for 1915, but the 15 has flaked off). Has some enamelling that has flaked off but otherwise in excellent condition. Approx. size 7 3/4. Payment Terms: Buyer to pay in US dollars within (7) days.
