100% Original russian military breast insignia of ww1. This one came from a houseclearing and was attached to a student cap 1920 period . ( in Belgium some students from universtity used a German type of studenthats to party in their studentbar/homes (and they attached all kind of small insignia on it. ) I think the student must have receaved this insignia after 1917 and attached it allong with other stuff to his hat. ( ? From Russian POW in german forced labour , russian 1917 refugee or he might got it from the Belgian expeditionary force in Russia 1917-1919) The insignia is complete with his backing screw.In front t is an imperial crown with cyrillic text unter it . In the center t are 2 letters with a II unterneath. ? Tsar Nicolas II ? Then you have L with scroll and 1864 - 1914 dates. ( 50 years) I have not cleaned it and it will sell as it is. At the back the 2 pieces of white and yellow metal are togheter with 2 pins and one is solded to keep them in place .The monogram is a third part. SEE PICS.
