No Reserve UP FOR AUCTION: This listing is from the estate of Lord Pentland being sold by the grandson John Sinclair.T were many many interesting items as he was also the govenor of Madras India for some time.The collection had many European and Asian pieces.I think some are very very special-Good Luck!!! Please look below for Bio I bought out a large selection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain from the estate.All pieces are early 1800s some are earlier and all are guaranteed to be so.Up for auction are 7 wonderful dragon plates/saucers that measure 4.75" across.5 are free from damage-no chips or cracks- two have a small rim chip.The cups measure 2.25" tall and 3.5" wide from handle to rim-all are free from damage.These are great early 19c pieces that would make a welcome addition to any collection.Please take a look at my other auctions for the matching bowls and plates. Captain John Sinclair of Lyth was the grandson of Sir John Sinclair of Barrock, 6th baronet of Dunbeath , and descended from George Sinclair of Mey (himself third son of the 4th Earl of Caithness ), who died 1616.
