Impressive Antique Silver Standing Pineapple Cup & Cover, Germany, 19th Century Impressive antique silver (NOT silver plated) standing pineapple cup and cover, Germany, 19th century. Beautifully designed in the style of 18th century cups. It rises to an impressive height of 11.4in! Decorated overall with repousse lobes (scales) and said to resemble a pineapple. The cover is topped by a stylized round handle. Set on a round, stepped, stylized base. Marked with antique German silver marks as seen in the pictures. An attractive item which is an absolute must for any serious collector. Highly sought after by collectors.
