Double your traffic. I am very pleased to present for sale this Stunning, Heavily Carved Victorian Solid Tiger Oak 3 piece Bedroom Set circa 1890's. This magnificent bedroom set has its rich old original finish with its exquisite original lion head hardware and the orginal casters are in place on all the pieces. A truly exceptional example of a Victorian Tiger Oak Bedroom set of the late 1800's. The heavily carved high back bed measures a total height at the head-board of 86 inches ( 7 ft 2 in.), a total outside width of the bed is 58 inches, outside length of 81 inches, the height of the heavily carved foot-board measures 38 inches, and the approximate total weight of the bed is 250 lbs. The bed has its original solid oak rails and old wood slats are also included. The inside mattress area measures 53 1/2 inches wide by 75 inches long and should accommodate a full size mattress set nicely but you should measure your mattress set to assure proper fit. The head-board does have a lower panel that has several age cracks these can be seen in the picture that would most likely not been seen when the mattress set and bedding pillows are added and does not affect the integrity of the head-board at all. The matching dresser with its origina beveled mirror measures a total height of 89 inches (7 ft 5 inches) to the top of the carvings on the mirror, a total width of 48 inches, a total depth of 22 inches and the height from the floor to the top of the dresser is 32 inches, and the approximate weight of the dresser with the mirror is 145 lbs. The original wide beveled mirror measures 35 1/4 inches wide by 29 inches high and does have some streaking and cloudiness that is age appropriate. The serpenine front dresser base has two smaller drawers over two larger ones each having the orginal brass lion head pulls and matching brass key escutcheons and period dove-tailing on the drawers. The matching washstand measures 31 inches in height,38 inches wide and 20 3/4 inhes deep and weighs approximately 80 lbs. The serpentine front washstand has two drawers with the original brass pulls like the dresser with a storage cabinet area below. There is an old repair to the far left door of the washstand that seems solid and secure. All the locks are intact on the dresser and the washstand but we do not have the keys.
