Offered for sale here is a circa 1986-87 Bausch & Lomb telescope that's surplus to needs. It belongs to my father who is a very keen deep sky astronomer. It was bought in the early 90s. In an effort to clear the garage floor, this now has to go. It doesn't have (and never had) a pillar. He stopped using it about 12 years ago because he moved on to giant binoculars - and has since move on again to refracting telescopes. Overall its complete with its finderscope (8 x 50) and its original 30mm Bausch & Lomb eyepiece (70 power) and lens covers but it's dirty and in need of some TLC. It would make a great move to intermediate viewing for anyone. The tracking mechanism needs attention (13 amp, 220v 50Hz). It is offered as a NO RESERVE auction so grab yourself a bargain. Due to potential damage to the lenses, I am not offering postage at this stage but I will happily discuss carriage or couriering them out to you.
