INCREDIBLE DT Blue Tabby Elestial Quartz *Indicolite!* Indigo or Blue Tara quartz . . . AWESOME crystal! DESCRIPTION Dimensions: Size - 5.3 in. tall X 1.9 in. wide X 0.8 in. deep Weight - 4.6 ounces Condition - Excellent is a stunning doubly terminated Blue Tabby Elestial Quartz crystal from the Genipapo Mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This crystal is one of a small group discovered in late 2005. During my trip to Tucson in 2006, these crystals were all the rage, and one large dealer was offering them at a price of $1/gram! Whew! (At that price, the wholesale cost of this crystal would have been over $130!) As drawn as I was to these crystals, I had to pass them by at that price. Fortunately, Spirit led me to a smaller, less-known dealer who offered me a small parcel at a price that I could afford. The blue glow in this crystal comes from inclusions of tiny needles of blue indicolite tourmaline! The indicolite needles are very, very fine - they almost look like small threads! In this crystal, they are well-distributed throughout, though in some areas they are more easily discerned with a loupe. T is one dense gathering of indicolite located on the front of the crystal, about an inch below one terminal end (clearly visible in the photos below). The front of this crystal is shiny and clear, covered with intricate, beautiful elestial faces. The rear is smoother and a bit misty. Both terminations are wonderful! T is a small area of self-healing to be seen on one terminal face, a glowing demonstration of this crystalline spirit's power of healing! The shape of this crystal allows her to fit very comfortably in either hand, and her energy is sparkly and simply FULL of Light! Since these crystals were discovered back in 2005, they have moved rapidly into the metaphysical community. Some refer to them as "Indigo Crystals", and others call them Â"Blue Tara quartz.Â" No matter what you call them, this is a very special and evolved crystalline family!
