Hey guys! Thanks so much for looking! ;) You are bidding on what I keep reading to be the Holy Grail of Comic Books! I would like to state clearly that I am not a comic book grader, BUT this book seems to be in excellent condition to me. I took it to my local comic book shop to see what their opinions were. The guys were amazed that I had found this book in my dad's collection and that it was in such great condition. They wanted to buy it from me on the spot but I like selling on Ebay. I believe they said that it was in "VF" condition ... whatever that means. They looked like young guys so I am not sure how much they know but they seemed intelligent about the book. They said you guys would know if I but the letters on the listing. Once again, I am not a grader nor are the comic book shop guys that gave me my info. Few Marvel books from the 1970s have had as much impact as this key issue that shook the entire Marvel Universe. This issue certainly caught the immediate attention of the "Marvel maniacs" of the day, and helped Wolverine secure a spot in the line-up of an updated group of X-Men. The future X-Men star makes his memorable first full comic book appearance in this issue and explodes into action from the first panel. Hulk must fight toe to toe with the vicious Wendigo. And Wolverine, the soon-to-be very popular member of the X-Men, simply takes on both! It's doubtful anyone had a clue how important this battle would be at the time. Certainly nobody expected much of this one when it came out, but lo and behold, that throwaway character known as the Wolverine turned into one of the most famous characters in comics.
